Moissanite
It has the chemical formula SiC and is a rare mineral. Silicon carbide is useful for commercial and industrial applications due to its hardness, optical properties and thermal conductivity.

Due to the appearance of polished artificial moissanite is very similar to the diamonds used for jewelry, also its weight is quite similar.
